Common questions

Quick answers before you email. If yours is not covered, use one of the options above.

How does the deadline calculator work?

Every date is worked out from the published procedural rule, the same way every time, and shown with the rule it comes from. The calculator is free and no account is needed to calculate a deadline.

Does every result show the rule behind the date?

Yes. Each result names the specific rule it applied, so you can check the date against the published rule yourself.

What does Pro add?

Pro adds saved matters, email reminders, calendar export and the audit-trail certificate, from £14.99 a month with a 14-day free trial.

Can I get a calendar file without a subscription?

Yes. Calculate your deadlines on the free calculator and buy a single calendar file (.ics) for £2.99, VAT included. It downloads straight away and we email you a copy. No account, no subscription.

How do I cancel my subscription?

In one click, from the billing page in your account. A card starts the trial, with no charge for 14 days, and you can export your matters as .ics and CSV.

Is a calculated deadline legal advice?

No. Deadline Engine provides procedural information, not legal advice, and using it does not create a solicitor-client relationship. Always check the result against the rule and the facts of your matter.

How do I contact support?

Email hello@deadlineengine.com and include the relevant page, browser and a screenshot if the issue is technical. Pro subscribers go to the front of the queue.
